Introduction:

Camtasia studio is a Tech Smith software suite for making video tutorials and presentations using screen casting or a direct recording plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint. Audio or other digital recordings may be made simultaneously or independently from another source. In 21st century, this software are used  in teaching and learning process. It is effective in making teaching learning material to engage students actively in it.

Procedures or steps:

I choose wild animals and their sound  from English  class III  to make a Camtasia video. After choosing the topic, I down loaded  the images of the wild animals and sounds, to find sounds of different animals I used sound.wav. After compiling all the pictures and sound, I used Camtasia studio to create the video. I used callouts to welcome and to introduce my topic. Then, I inserted images of different animals and sound according to the animals and wrote the name of the animal on it. To make it interesting and enjoyable I inserted Audio(music) and narrated .I also live recorded from you tube using record screen feature from Camtasia Studio. Finally, video is ready after using produce and share feature.

How to use it while teaching and learning:

This video can be used during the lesson to teach students about wild animals and their sounds in order to help them understand and keep in mind for more duration. This will help to boost the interest of the students and also increase the retention of the knowledge. Comprehension skill of students will also improve.
